Applications for next season are now open for prospective competitors – until December 25th
Teams and riders who want to join the Northern Talent Cup can now apply to join the 2025 grid! Registration is open here at northerntalentcup.com until the 25th of December for all those looking to take their place on the Road to MotoGP™.
The NTC races on Honda NSF250 R machinery and with Pirelli tyres, in line with similar competitions on the Road to MotoGP™, providing the best foundations for stars of the future to further their careers and prove their talent. From the ranks of the NTC, opportunities are then available to move further up the Road to MotoGP™.
The 2025 NTC grid will be limited to 26 entrants and riders must be born between January 1st, 2006, and March 28th, 2011, to be a minimum age of 14 before the first round. Riders from different racing backgrounds can apply, with no circuit racing experience necessary. Other disciplines on two wheels can also translate into success on tarmac – what the NTC looks to discover is potential. All nationalities can also apply, but the NTC is aimed at young riders from across northern and central Europe.
If individual riders apply, they must also choose a Team Name and have a Team Manager. Riders must also have at least one mechanic and a legal guardian.
Any Team Application should specify a Team Manager, who will be the main contact with the organisation, and the team can comprise a rider and two mechanics. Mechanics can also be family members or acquaintances.
